Josh Treviño Jr. is a pre-professional Stage Manager hailing from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, where he first found his love for theatre at the Harlingen Performing Arts Conservatory, and discovered the powerful influence it has on communities like the RGV. After honing his skills at Texas State University, Josh has embraced Theatre of the Oppressed and New Works as his focus. In 2023, he was one of only 10 students nationwide to receive the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship, a prestigious award that offers mentorship to students of color with a passion for behind-the-scenes work and design. In 2025, Josh took a leap of faith and moved from Texas to New York City, where he’s now a dedicated Stage Manager working on various productions while also pursuing his studies at CUNY Brooklyn College.
